Mother and Daughter Arrested
  
On February 2, the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office arrested a mother and her daughter for selling their controlled prescription narcotics.  This comes just two days after an unrelated arrest of a father and his son for the same charges.

  

Layden Kempton Odum, 55, of 111 B Breezewood Dr. Greenville is charged with Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver.

  

Katherine Layden Odum, 21, of 111 B Breezewood Dr. Greenville is charged with two charges of Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver for an incident in February, as well as September, 2011.

 

A total of 61 dosage units were seized at a street value of $910.

 

Both were taken to the Pitt County Detention Center and placed under a $10,000 unsecured bond.
