Two Arrested at Local Pharmacy with Forged Prescriptions

 


On October 5, the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit received information regarding individuals with forged prescriptions.

 

Mitchell Rigoberto Alanis,  DOB:  10/1/1984 of 3499 NC 903 North,  Maury;  and Charles Brandon McLawhorn, DOB:  2/3/1987 of 2031 Pecan Lane,  Ayden were both apprehended at Walgreen's in Greenville with 120 dosage units of Oxycodone and $6000.

 

Alanis is charged with Obtaining Controlled Substance by Fraud/Forgery and Possessing a Controlled Substance into a Prison/Jail Facility after a detention officer discovered approximately three grams of marijuana concealed on him.  He is under a $15,000 secured bond.

 

McLawhorn is charged with Obtaining Controlled Substance by Fraud/Forgery and was also served with three outstanding Failures to appear warrants; two for Driving While License Revoked and one for Fictitious Registration/Tag.  He is under a $7000 secured bond.
