Two Arrested After Selling Narcotics 

On April 26, the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Detectives arrested Francis Sabrina Bizzell, DOB:  5/25/1959 and Jimmy O’Neal Murphy, DOB:  9/15/1968 both of 583 First Street, Ayden for narcotics violations. 

During the past month, the Narcotics Unit conducted an investigation into reports of Bizzell’s involvement in selling illegal narcotics.  28 grams of opium was purchased from Bizzell which led to her arrest.  Murphy was also arrested and charged in connection with the undercover purchase.

“The efforts to apprehend those selling illegal drugs to people in our community is a primary pursuit of our office,” Sheriff Neil Elks said.  “We will continue to work to defeat drug use in our communities.”

Bizzell is charged with Trafficking in Opium or Heroin by Sell; Trafficking in Opium or Heroin by Delivery;  and Maintaining a Vehicle for Control Substance.  Murphy is charged with Conspire to Traffic Opium or Heroin by Sell.  Both are in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $1,000,000.00 secured bond each.
