Trafficking  Opium or Heroin

 A three month investigation of drug trafficking has resulted in the arrest of James Eric Hannan,  DOB 12/03/1961, of 550 Terradel Road, Greenville.

 The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit purchased trafficking amounts of Opium from Hannan which led to a search warrant of his residence.  Hannan was arrested and charged with Trafficking Opium or Heroin by Possession, Trafficking Opium or Heroin by Sell, and Trafficking Opium or Heroin by Deliver.

 He was transported to the Pitt County Detention Center and placed under a $150,000 secured bond.  Other charges are pending in this case.
