Staying Safe

The ultimate goal of crime prevention is to reduce the risk of being a victim. In order to accomplish this effectively, it is important to remove opportunities for a criminal to take advantage of you or your property. Communication with our citizens is key in the efforts to prevent crime or solve cases. The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office wants to build a relationship based on trust so working together we can keep Pitt County a safe place to live and raise our families.
