Harper Brush Employee Arrested For Larceny by Employee

On April 18, detectives with the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged David A. Huffman, DOB:  2/16/1972, of Washington with Larceny by Employee.

In February, the PCSO received a report of items missing from Harper Brush located at 2400 North Memorial Drive, Greenville.  An investigation by detectives revealed that during 2008 through 2011 an employee of the company had sold in excess of $20,000 worth of equipment on ebay that belonged to Harper Brush.

Suspicions began due to a search by Harper Brush on the eBay website for a part for an older piece of equipment.  When the needed part was located on the site, it was determined that the part was the property of Harper Brush.

Huffman is charged with 16 counts of Larceny by Employee.  He is in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $160,000 secured bond.  Numerous other counts of Larceny by Employee are pending.
